The 18-piece jiving BSO represents the future of big band swing music. Specializing in the performance of vintage Swing Era and Sinatra classics as well as popular and original songs custom arranged for big band, its mission is to bring this awesome music back into the mainstream for future generations to enjoy.

The orchestra features many young and notable vocalists, including American Idol finalists John Stevens, Siobhan Magnus, and Erika van Pelt, semifinalist Jen Hirsh, and internationally-acclaimed jazz vocalist Laura Brunner.

Now in its ninth year, the Beantown Swing Orchestra swings at classy galas and performs concerts in a variety of beautiful venues. The mission of the BSO centers on engaging, entertaining, and educating audiences with this historically-significant and most ssphisticated form of American music ever created.

And of course, this Cabot performance will feature swing versions of a treasury of holiday classics.
